Valeo Networks has acquired SpliceNet Consulting, a Cincinnati-based managed service provider. The move extends Valeo’s footprint in the Midwest while adding a business with long-standing expertise in IT services, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data recovery.
SpliceNet stands out for its focus on the legal sector, where it supports more than 200 law firms. It has also carved out a role in helping organizations adopt AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, building credibility through its ongoing virtual education programs backed by Microsoft.
As part of the deal, all SpliceNet employees will move under the Valeo Networks banner. Founder Jim Gast has grown the firm into a trusted provider in Cincinnati, and that local presence now positions Valeo to directly serve Ohio’s business community.
For Valeo, the acquisition is less about scale alone and more about deepening sector expertise and market access. SpliceNet’s client relationships and technical capabilities complement Valeo’s MSSP portfolio and support its broader strategy of expanding into new regions with established local players.
